Home to may is different things to different people.
We here in Australia pay large amounts of taxes and where do a lot of these dollars go. Well charity in the form of food to feed the starving in poor countries. Australian households are under a lot of stress with the associated problems.
Then there is the rich people paying there way to this country on planes and boats. When they arrive here they are locked up but this is changing with some Australians opening there houses to these people. One would have to be very weary as these people don't have passports and there could be bigger problems arise to this situation . This is not like the good Samaritan as described in the bible these are people whom desert there own countries and run to Christianity. leaving behind there own way of life and religions. I will say to you home is where you want to be not where you want to go.
Back to charity, We are forced to pay charity to overseas countries even when the infrastructure is falling apart in our own country. This charity is in the form of taxes. Where do you think wheat aid from Australia comes from?
Australians are a giving race of people and I for one am proud to be one. .
